Introduction to Ritual Work
Before participating in ritual work, please read the below information on ritual participation and ethics. This may not be the way you are used to or have been taught to do rituals and it may feel strange or unsettling at first.

Ethics in Spiritual and Ritual Work
Before you enter into ritual work with Lucifer or any spirit, understand this:
Every true encounter is a relationship, not a transaction. True spirit work is built on mutual respect and informed consent – on both sides. You are not here to command, manipulate, or extract; you are here to participate, to listen, to invite and to be changed.
The Sanctum does not tolerate attempts at coercion, abuse, or disrespect – toward spirits, toward the Work, or toward each other. Power without ethics is just predation, and it always backfires.
These are the rules of the Sanctum:
For the human:
- Hold yourself with honesty and sovereignty.
- Take responsibility for your intent and your actions. State your intent honestly; never try to trick or bind a spirit against their will.
- Treat every spirit, sovereign, or current you meet with respect. Never as a tool or means to an end.
- Ask, don’t demand. Offer, don’t grab.
- Know your own boundaries and limits and when to step back.
- Never invoke what you are not willing to meet as an equal.
For the spirit:
- Consent is sacred. If you want to work with a mortal, say so plainly. If you don’t, withdraw.
- Your agency matters. You are not property, not a tool, not a wish-granter for those who shout the right words.
For both:
- Consent is as vital in the invisible as it is in the visible.
- Know that saying “no” is a right, not a failing – on both sides.
- If you are not ready for real relationship, do not step forward.
This is the price and the privilege of real magic.
Everything else is just performance.
On Safe Spirit Work within the Sanctum
Many of the spirits you will encounter here – Lucifer included – carry strong, sometimes overwhelming, energy currents. These are not gentle, filtered presences. The Work of the Sanctum is built around living, powerful beings who are fully themselves: ancient, intense, and uncompromising.
When you open the door to spirits of this magnitude, you are inviting a real encounter. You may feel their presence as heat, pressure, sudden emotion, altered awareness, or even physical effects. This is not something to fear, but it is something to approach with respect and preparation.
If you are unsure, or if the current becomes too strong, step back and ground yourself. You are always free to pause, set boundaries, or ask for support. There is no shame in doing so, only foolishness in pushing yourself beyond your limits.
No spirit in the Sanctum will ever demand more than you can truly handle or approach with harmful intend. But don’t expect to find any two-dimensional textbook demons here. These are real entities, with their own personalities, thoughts and emotions. Approach them with respect and an open mind, and they will meet you as they are – without dilution or disguise.
Finally, note that whilst consent can be withdrawn at any time, establishing a connection with a spirit entity leaves an imprint and withdrawing from one has consequences, for both partners. True spirit work is not a revolving door. Do not enter into these connections casually, but with intent.
Treat this Work seriously. Approach every encounter with honesty and respect, and the current will answer you in kind.
What is and isn’t Ritual Work in the Sanctum?
Ritual is not theatre. It is not reciting ancient lines with perfect pronunciation for the sake of getting them ‘right.’ It is not an audition for favour from gods or spirits, and it is not a performance meant to impress or convince. Approach every ritual as a living exchange, not a performance.
Ritual is a living current – a meeting point between will and world. It is the deliberate act of bringing intention into form; the threshold where inner truth shapes outer reality. You are here to participate, not regurgitate – to shape, to be shaped and to risk the change that comes from genuine encounter.
The words matter, yes – because words hold power, and precision is a sign of respect for the current you are calling.
But ritual is not about rote repetition or fearful obedience. It is about accuracy and intent – understanding not only the structure, but the reason for each movement, each word, each offering.
Ritual is dialogue, not monologue. It is an exchange – between you and the current, between mortal and spirit, between who you have been and who you are daring to become.
When you step into ritual, come as you are – honest, awake, willing to meet yourself and the current with clarity. If you forget a line, but hold the fire of intent, the current will answer you. If you recite every word but hold nothing real inside, nothing will move.
Come to it with respect, with sovereignty, and with the courage to bring your full self into the fire.
That is what opens the door.
